Required Materials and Tools
Before you pick up your crochet hook, gather the following supplies:
Yarn: Sport weight (Fine 2) or DK weight (Light 3) cotton yarn in your preferred colors. Cotton yarn is highly recommended because it gives the hat a crisp structure and excellent stitch definition.
Crochet Hook: A 2.0 mm to 2.5 mm hook (depending on your yarn choice and tension). You want your stitches to be tight so the stuffing doesn’t show through.
Fiberfill Stuffing: A very small amount of polyester fiberfill to give the hat its perfect rounded shape.
Hair Clip Base: Plain metal alligator clips, snap clips (çıtçıt toka), or hair ties.
Decorations: Mini satin rosebuds, thin ribbons, pearl beads, or a tiny crocheted flower.
Hot Glue Gun: Or strong fabric glue to securely attach the finished hat and decorations to the metal hair clip.
Essential Tools: A sharp pair of scissors, a yarn needle for weaving in loose ends, and a stitch marker to keep track of your continuous rounds.

Assembly and Styling Tips
2-Adding the Ribbon: Wrap a thin satin ribbon around the base of the crown (where Round 9 met Round 10). Secure it with a tiny drop of hot glue and tie a small bow or glue a miniature flower over the seam.
